As part of my new role as Head of Digital here at Oculus I have decided it is time to restart the Oculus Digital blog.
There have been a few changes around here of late.Adrian has moved on to pastures new, and we have a few new faces here.Craig joined the team as a back-end developer in November last year, Salome has also joined us (a few weeks back) to work on web development. Both bring a wealth of programming experience to the team – not just Kentico and .NET, but a whole host of experience with data systems, CRM, and much more.
Lastly, I have now joined the team as Head of Digital – so I’ll be working with the team to make sure we’re promoting the full diversity of our expertise, and applying this effectively for all client needs.
First thing we’ll be updating is what we can offer as a team – changes to Oculus Digital and the main Oculus website will be in place shortly. This is just the start of it though… the real focus will be on campaigns, I’ll be proactively involved to suggest the most effective and valuable approach at the lowest possible cost to clients.
Having worked client-side before, as well as closely with clients such as Microsoft, Symantec and Trend Micro I’m aware how crucial ROI and analytics are in today’s budget-restricted world. So we’ll be working closely with account teams to ensure where possible we can aid the demonstration ofROI and campaign results through tracking and analytics across digital campaign deliverables.
As the new boy, I’m keen to get out and meet as many existing clients and prospects as possible. So do get in touch if you have a question about anything digital, or if you’re just looking for ways to improve what you’re doing right now.Always happy to help!
